Sleeping Position

Are sleeping positions genetically inherited???

How then, may i ask, did my baby develop this habit of sleeping in this position? You cant say he copies it because when we're sleeping, he's sleeping as well, so its not like he watches over us when we're sleeping. And he doesnt do this consciously as well, because he shifts into this position when he is already sound asleep!

Holy Mole-y!

Tagged along with my friends A and B today because they were going to get the moles checked, and i mentioned i had one too so A told me i should come too.

Anyway, we went today to St. Lukes and had our moles checked by Dr. Leuenberger, head of the Dermatology unit.

Apparently, my mole is also suspicious looking, so the doctor suggested that i have it removed. Thankfully, its not that urgent, and actually i could sit and wait awhile and just keep observing it first. I like how she said, "at least we took a positive step today which isto have it checked and have a plan" :)

So i think i'll have to start reading up on this beginning today, and learn more about it before i finally plan to have it removed one day.

Here's a link i found, which you should probably read too.

Terrible Two's

Is thankful for the assurance of babycenter.com :-)

Your life now
If you find yourself bracing for those fabled "terrible twos," relax. It's the second year of life (the one you've just passed through) that's among the more challenging developmentally. The actual "twos" tend to be a bit calmer and even more fun.

Yey!

Another Turning Point

I've had several other blogs before this. Or at least tried having them. One was about my obsessive-compulsiveness. Another was about my depression. Then i made a blog that was all about our wedding preparations and then converted it into our family blog, mostly about me and my husband being new parents.

The only blog i try to maintain now is the last one. The earlier ones have gone forgotten - good for me :)

But this year, i thought i'd make a new one - for another turning point in my life - as i (gasp!) turn 30 years old.

This year, i realized, along with turning 30, i will also be celebrating:

- my 30th year of being a daughter and a sister,
- 14 years of friendship with my best friends,
- 8 years in my job,
- my 3rd year of being a wife,

- and of course -- my 2nd year of being a Mommy.

And so here's to the rest of my life!

Taking inspiration from Sid of the Ice Age 3 Movie (which my son Basti watches over and over and over), i felt i was the one he was cheering on when he said: "Way to go Momzilla!!!"
